1. Current browser storage
The site stores a single local-storage value named ruggedlayer-locale when you choose a language or dismiss a language suggestion. The value contains only the selected locale code, such as en or es. It remains in that browser until you clear site data or replace the preference.
Local storage is not automatically sent with each web request. The preference is read in the browser to keep language navigation predictable.
3. Security and optional services
Cloudflare Turnstile is used for abuse protection on public forms. The site does not intentionally load advertising, customer-chat or behavioral analytics scripts through its application code.
Optional analytics, advertising, embedded media or chat tools must not be enabled until their data flow, provider terms, regional consent requirement, retention and security settings have been reviewed. Where consent is required, optional storage must remain off until the visitor makes a choice.
4. Your controls
You can clear or block local storage and cookies through your browser settings. Clearing the ruggedlayer-locale value removes the saved language preference; the locale in the URL will continue to determine the page language.

5. Changes to this notice
This page will be updated if the site begins using a new cookie, local-storage key, analytics service or embedded third-party feature. Each new item must be assessed for purpose, provider, data, duration, category and consent behavior.
