2. Information we collect

  • Information you provide, such as name, business email, company, country or region, project intent and requirements.
  • Project context, such as workflow, application type, capture method, environment, target device, estimated quantity and timing.
  • Business communications and follow-up records created when we respond to an inquiry or manage an agreed project.
  • Limited technical data needed to operate and secure the site, such as IP address, request time, browser information, requested path and security signals. Operational logging is configured to avoid form contents and other unnecessary personal data.
  • Language preference stored locally in your browser when you choose or dismiss a language suggestion.

3. How we use information

  • Review and respond to device, validation, sample, quotation, partner and OEM/ODM requests.
  • Assess technical and commercial feasibility and prepare the next scoped deliverable.
  • Coordinate an agreed evaluation, order, deployment, support or lifecycle activity.
  • Protect the website, detect abuse, troubleshoot failures and maintain service reliability.
  • Meet legal, accounting, compliance and dispute-handling obligations that apply to the responsible entity.
  • Send marketing communications only where a separate, optional consent or another valid basis applies. Project consent is not marketing consent.

4. Lawful bases

Where applicable law requires a lawful basis, processing may rely on steps requested before entering a contract, performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, legitimate interests such as responding to B2B inquiries and securing the site, or consent for a specific optional purpose. The basis used depends on the request, relationship and law that applies.

5. Sharing and service providers

Information may be handled by personnel and service providers that need it to host and secure the site, route requests, operate business email, maintain customer records, support an agreed project or meet legal obligations. Providers must be limited to the information and purpose needed for their role.

The site uses Cloudflare infrastructure. Form requests are validated by a Cloudflare Worker and Cloudflare Turnstile, then sent through Cloudflare email services to a configured business mailbox. No CRM is currently connected to the public form.

We do not plan to sell personal information. Information may be disclosed where required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a properly governed business reorganization.

6. International data transfers

The responsible entity is based in Guangzhou, China. Information submitted from another country may therefore be transferred to and handled in China. Hosting, security, email or other approved service providers may also process limited information in additional countries.

Where cross-border transfer rules apply, we use the notice, consent, contractual, assessment or other safeguard required for the relevant processing. Service-provider locations may change, so this notice does not present an unverified fixed country list.

7. Retention

Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for the request, project, security purpose, legal obligation or documented business record. The retention limits below may be shortened or extended where a documented legal, contractual, dispute, fraud-prevention or deletion requirement applies.

  • Initial or unqualified inquiries: up to 24 months after the last substantive contact.
  • Sales opportunities, evaluations and project communications: up to 3 years after the last project activity, unless they become part of a longer contractual record.
  • Contracts, orders, invoices, tax and accounting records: for the applicable statutory period and any necessary claims period.
  • Security and abuse-prevention logs: up to 180 days, unless a security incident or legal obligation requires a longer documented hold.
  • Marketing consent, withdrawal and suppression records: while needed to demonstrate the choice and honor an opt-out or objection.

8. Security

The implemented form design includes encrypted transport, environment separation, shared client/server validation, server-side Turnstile verification, a honeypot, request-size and origin checks, Cloudflare secret bindings, plain-text notification email and suppression of personal data from URLs, analytics events, ordinary logs and error messages. No transmission or storage method is completely secure.

Do not submit application binaries, source code, passwords, private keys, certificates, customer datasets or other restricted files through an initial public form.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent or review by a privacy authority. Requests may require reasonable identity verification. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out lawfully.

Send privacy questions or requests to sales@ruggedlayer.com for the attention of 广州讯科信息科技有限公司. Any legally required local representative or privacy-authority contact will be added only after the applicable market and processing activity are confirmed.

10. Children

This is a business-to-business website and is not directed to children. Do not submit a child's personal information through the site.

11. External sites and downloads

The site may link to approved third-party resources or provide versioned downloads. A third party controls its own privacy practices. Review the applicable notice before providing information to another service.

12. Changes and contact

Material changes will be published on this page and, where required, communicated through an additional notice. Form consent records retain the applicable notice version when required for accountability.
